Live-action "reimagining" of Cinderella on the way

Having scored (commercial, if not exactly critical) success with its update of Alice In Wonderland, Disney is moving boldly forward with a seven-figure deal to remake Cinderella as a live-action feature—and while no one’s explicitly said it will be in 3-D yet, you can probably bet on it. The classic fairy tale about a woman rescued from doing an honest day’s labor by donning a pretty dress and landing herself a rich man with a shoe fetish will get its own “reimagining” from screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, whose previous credits include modern fairy tales The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses.
