Lizzy Caplan will help Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen save Christmas
As reported by Variety, Party Down’s Lizzy Caplan—who is probably Master Of Sex’s Lizzy Caplan now—has signed on to 50/50 director Jonathan Levine’s still-untitled Christmas movie. The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen as friends who get together in New York on every Christmas Eve, so we’re just going to start calling it Gordon-Levitt V. Rogen: Dawn Of Christmas. Caplan will be playing Gordon-Levitt’s love interest, and as we previously reported, The Winter Soldier’s Anthony Mackie will play another friend that he meets up with every year.
Despite being titled Gordon-Levitt V. Rogen: Dawn Of Christmas, this isn’t a superhero movie, so it’s surprising that everyone has apparently been so cagey about plot details. All we know is that the three guys are friends, and Caplan and Gordon-Levitt are going to kiss or whatever. Based on that information, though, we can predict that the movie will focus on the three friends as they travel all around New York trying to find a specific Turbo Man figure that Caplan wanted, but they’ll have to fight Sinbad in order to get it. In the end, though, they’ll realize that friendship is the real Turbo Man figure, Gordon-Levitt’s hair will have started to grow back, and then they’ll play a Pearl Jam song. Actually, we may have gotten a few movies confused there.
