Brooklyn based singer LOLO has spent the past 20 years trying to make it, including the last few months in the UK. All that hard work appears to be paying off, with some of her recent singles finding blog favor and the occasional radio spin. She’s a featured singer on Panic! At The Disco’s “Miss Jackson,” and has two shows coming up, including one at NYC’s Popshop tonight, April 3. The A.V. Club has joined our Internet brethren aboard the good ship LOLO, and is happy to premiere a new live video from the soul singer. This acoustic version of “Weapon For Saturday” was taped at Brooklyn’s Shabby Road Studios, and maintains the goth qualities of the original while managing to still be somewhat intimate.
