London hotel now offering Harry Potter-themed rooms
Although the last Harry Potter book was published in 2007 and the last movie was released in 2011, it’s apparently never too late to capitalize on The Boy Who Lived. A boutique hotel in London has transformed two of its rooms into “Wizard Chambers,” which seem to be very small hotel rooms decorated with potion bottles, cauldrons, trunks, and vaguely Gryffindor-like colors. The Georgian House Hotel’s description also promises “unexpected wizardly details,” which probably do not include moving staircases or your own wand.
The full Potter package—which includes one night in the Wizard Chambers, a Muggle breakfast, and a ride on the Harry Potter tour bus, which will take you to the Warner Bros. studio tour—will set you back £249 (around $400) for two people.
