In his efforts to get this whole mogul thing down, Drake is adding restaurateur to his labels, which include “owner of OVO Sound record label.” This comes from Uproxx, which has apparently been keeping a vigilant eye on Drake-related posts on social media, which is how it came across both a tweet and an Instagram video about the site of Drake’s new restaurant in—where else?—Toronto.
As you can see, the signage includes the OVO owl, to remind prospective diners of who they can hope to run into while eating in the heart of Toronto’s financial district, where their views will no longer be obstructed by some awful branding. The restaurant is rumored to be a sports bar, because of Drake’s avid interest in the basketball—also, the name of the place is Pick 6, which we understand is a football thing. Then again, it might have something to do with craft beers. We won’t really know until the restaurant opens, or we get a sneak peek of the menu, which better include items like a “Passionfruit” cocktail, or a “Started From The Bottom Round Roast.”
