Looks like Margarita Bear here is already on holiday
While the rest of us are still sort of sorting things out at work, perhaps texting friends and squaring things away before a blissful but weird mid-week holiday, it looks like Margarita Bear here decided to jump the gun and get things moving early. In the above video (captured on Friday in a Los Angeles suburb) we can clearly see him getting a luxurious soak in, dipping his big furry face into the water and rubbing it with great delight. The Los Angeles Times reports the big fella spent several hours enjoying—for once—some goddamn R&R without staring at his cellphone or talking about politics. Activities, per the report, included:
- “lolling in the unheated hot tub with the jets on”
- playing with the chlorinator and tossing the thermometer in the air
- “having a grand old time”
- knocking over a margarita, then drinking it
- falling asleep in a tree
After that the bear reportedly lumbered off, presumably to see if anyone was up for some bocce. We’ll have time when the holiday actually starts, Margarita Bear! See you then.
