Lou Pearlman's reign of terror is over
Boy-band Svengali Lou Pearlman, missing since February, was today forcibly ejected from a resort hotel in Bali, expelled by Indonesian immigration officials, and turned over to the U.S. to appear before a federal judge in Guam on one count of felony bank fraud. Just two days ago, Pearlman had his personal possessions (including this sad little Lyte Funky Ones CD/clock) auctioned off for the sum total of $200,000, which barely makes a dent in the money he owes. (Civil suits allege he swindled investors out of more than $300 million, and several banks are foreclosing on more than $130 million in loans.) No doubt Justin Timberlake is screening his calls extra carefully today.
