Louis C.K. and Andrew Dice Clay are going to be in Woody Allen’s new movie
Louis C.K. and Andrew Dice Clay have been added to the cast of Woody Allen’s as-yet-unnamed and as-yet-unfilmed movie, according to Deadline. They’ll join Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Emerson, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard, Max Casella, Alden Ehrenreich, and—if Scott Aukerman is to be believed, and we’re not sure if he is—Tim Heidecker and Tony Roberts. Considering Clay hasn’t really been in a movie since 2001’s One Night At McCool’s, maybe this will be his career resurgence, like Mickey Rourke’s go-around in The Wrestler. Then again, maybe he’ll just play a wisecracking doorman with two lines.
The film will be shot in New York and San Francisco this summer and, barring any super-expensive action scenes or green-screen battles that would need to be added, should be out sometime in 2013. To Rome With Love, Allen’s latest completed movie, hits theaters June 22.
