Lower Dens to release sophomore album May 1, but you can hear an awesome song from it now

We're sad to say that Lower Dens' debut Twin-Hand Movement slipped under our radar in 2010, but we've enjoyed playing catch-up with this great record, which moves on mechanical rhythms, chiming guitars, and vocals that murmur and mesmerize in equal doses. You can hear all those elements in "Brains," a new song Lower Dens have posted online in advance of the Baltimore band's sophomore release, Nootropics (pronounced No-eh-tro-pics), which comes out May 1.
