Minnesota slowcore darlings Low are working on their new record, which, as tipped in an A.V. Club interview last week, will be produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. In the meantime, frontman Alan Sparhawk has released a new EP with one of his side projects, The Murder Of Crows. Imperfecta is available on iTunes, Amazon, or through the band’s website, and features vocals from Low’s Mimi Parker on at least one track.

The Murder Of Crows will be performing songs off the EP live via webcast Monday, Sept. 24. The show will take place at the Sacred Heart Church in Duluth, Minnesota (also where Low’s C’mon, Trust, Great Destroyer, and Retribution Gospel Choir’s 2 were recorded), and fans can stream the whole thing live via StageIt starting at 2p.m. EST. Virtual admission to the show is via a name-your-own-price donation, and spots can be reserved online now.
