Lucas plans new Star Wars films
During a chat with Fox's Roger Friedman yesterday, George Lucas announced he's planning to make two new live-action Star Wars films. According to the report, Lucas says the films will likely be hour-long, made-for-TV affairs, and "they won't have members of the Skywalker family as characters. They will be other people of that milieu." Of course, no further details were dropped.
Lucas also took the opportunity to bag on Spider-Man 3 (go ahead, kick a movie when it's down) and dodge questions about Sean Connery's participation in the upcoming fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise.
