Ludacris opening a Chicken-N-Beer restaurant in Atlanta airport
Having already conquered the worlds of hip-hop and sullying your hip-hop image by acting in terrible comedies, Ludacris is once more following in the footsteps of Flavor Flav by opening his very own fried chicken restaurant—one based on his 2003 album Chicken-N-Beer, the idea that people look to their favorite rappers as a mark of quality on fried chicken, and a long-term strategy to make Bill Cosby lose his shit. The flagship Chicken-N-Beer is now prepping to open in Concourse D of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport—the better to service hos in different area codes, which is like that thing he says in that song—or as Ludacris put it, in a tweet embodying the weight of his announcement, “WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE BUSIEST AIRPORT ON THE PLANET!! THIS IS HISTORY!!” Indeed, future historians will long point to today as the commencement of a new era in rap-inspired airport dining, one in which 21st-century man, seeking sustenance for his circuitous journeys, looked upon Ludacris making a face like he’s going to eat some woman’s legs, and then quickly shuffled on down to Quizno’s.
