According to Variety (via TMZ), former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Luke Perry has been hospitalized after suffering what is being called a “massive stroke.” TMZ says paramedics responded to a call this morning about someone having a stroke, and while his current condition is unknown, his representatives have confirmed to Variety that he is “currently under observation at the hospital.”
Perry currently has a regular role on The CW’s dark Archie reboot Riverdale, playing Archie’s father, and this news happens to come just a day after Fox announced a self-aware 90210 revival starring most of the original cast as exaggerated versions of themselves. At the time, Perry and Shannen Doherty were the only two stars who hadn’t committed to the revival.
