M.I.A. releases single, rumored to be part of Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show

Amid the contortionists, trapeze artists, sword-swallowers, sexy midgets and various other miscellany that Madonna is gathering for the manliest Super Bowl halftime show ever this Sunday will be M.I.A. At least that's the rumor anyway, though if it is true the singer-rapper will have new product to promote: A new single, "Bad Girls," just posted online. The song arrives in advance of M.I.A.'s fourth album, which she's still working on and hopes to release by this summer. (M.I.A. also appears on the song "Gimme All Your Luvin'" from Madonna's forthcoming record.) Check out the new song here. [via Pitchfork]
