M. Night Shyamalan announced on Twitter that he’s plotted out his next film, hinting that you’ll know what’s up if you’ve seen Split. To the uninitiated that would imply that he’s at work on a sequel to the thriller starring James McAvoy. However, you’ll also want to recall that Shyamalan has said he is planning to pursue a follow-up to Unbreakable. But if you’ve seen Split—or had its big twist revealed to you—you’ll know that those are one and the same.
After years of being a punchline, Shyamalan’s back in a position where his upcoming projects are highly anticipated. Split just finished another weekend winning the box office.
