M. Ward announces new "travelogue" album

So a moving M. Ward gathers no moss, it seems. The singer-songwriter has announced that his new album A Wasteland Companion, a "musical travelogue" inspired by his touring lifestyle over the last three years, will be released on April 10. Naturally, the album is due out while Ward is on the road: The 38-year-old also announced he'll embark on a full U.S. tour where he'll be joined by Firehose, Jonathan Richman, Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo.
