Mad commissions Pulitzer winners

From the Shooting Lame Ducks In A Barrel Department: Mad Magazine has recruited 10 Pulitzer-winning editorial cartoonists to contribute to a two-page spread in its new issue titled "Why George W. Bush Is In Favor Of Global Warming." The text of the cartoons—-including zingers like "His worries about how future generations will remember his presidency won't matter if there are no future generations"–were penned by Mad staffer Jacob Lambert. Said Mad editor John Ficarra: "The whole thing is a thinly veiled ploy on our part to win a Pulitzer."

In related news: Hey Mad, did you guys ever notice that Dubya bears an uncanny resemblance to Alfred E. Neuman? That's a freebie.
