At a show Monday night in Washington, D.C., Madonna let her political freak flag fly, pausing to muse on the assassinations of both Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr. before getting slightly more current and endorsing Obama, sort of. Madonna called upon the crowd to vote for Obama by saying—likely in jest, because, come on—that “we have a black Muslim in the White House,” noting that that is, in fact, “some amazing shit.”
This wasn’t the first time she’s kicked in her unhelpful support for the President, having displayed his name on her back during a show a few weeks ago.
