Adding to a lineage of intimidating, slightly sinister guest lecturers that has included Michael K. Williams and Betty White, Malcolm McDowell has joined the upcoming season of Community for a two-episode stint. (The old in-out, in TV parlance.) McDowell will play Professor Cornwallis, whose attempts to teach the Greendale gang history will no doubt go over as well as every past professor's attempts to teach them anything. And his presence, alongside the recently confirmed fellow British person Matt Lucas, suggests that the upcoming season will suddenly see Greendale transformed into an English boarding school without explanation, all because Dan Harmon isn't around anymore. Of course, that's just baseless, reckless speculation, but it doesn't mean it isn't probably true.
