Man dies during screening of Eclipse
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a 23-year-old New Zealand man was taking in a Sunday evening showing of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse when he dropped dead from reasons unknown. The story originally appeared in the New Zealand Herald, which had reported he was a Wellington-dwelling "transient" who frequently traveled the country and had attended the screening alone. He was later found by theater staff after the screening had ended, slumped in his seat with his eyes closed; investigators will be conducting an autopsy today to find out if his death is due to natural causes or an overabundance of terrible acting. Paramedics on the scene said there were no apparent injuries to the body, leaving the death “unexplained” by authorities, and ruling out the possibility of foul play. Once the cause of death is determined, perhaps they can move on to figuring out what a man was doing at a Twilight movie alone.
