Mannequin Men cover "Nuttin' For Christmas"

Chicago band Mannequin Men initially considered performing John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" for Holiday Undercover, but changed their minds to this '50s chestnut after the Lennon song proved a bit out of reach. That's probably a good thing, since "Nuttin' For Christmas" is something of a lost classic, hopefully to be resurrected here. Written by Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett—who also wrote more than 40 songs that Elvis Presley recorded—the song was a big novelty hit in the mid-'50s. This version makes it sound like a long-lost Clash song. Mannequin Men's latest is self-titled. Rock it.
