Margaret Cho’s mom rented out the Peoples Temple the week of the Jonestown massacre

Margaret Cho and her family are big believers in ghosts and the paranormal. That didn’t stop Cho’s mom from renting out the Peoples Temple in San Francisco after the Jonestown massacre. Cho recently stopped by The A.V. Club offices in the midst of touring the country to share this story and other experiences with the paranormal.
