Marilyn Manson will voice a creepy character on an upcoming episode of Once Upon A Time. Like Iggy Pop before him, Manson won’t actually be seen on the show, but rather heard as the voice of The Shadow, a character loosely based on Peter Pan’s shadow. While casual readers and viewers might associate Pan with fun and games, this Shadow is more interested in kidnapping and soul sabotage, and has been causing all sorts of trouble on the current season of Once. The show’s creators called on Manson because, as they tell Rolling Stone, “We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl.” Mission accomplished.
Though The Shadow has already appeared on the series, he won’t actually be heard until the eighth episode of this current season, which should air sometime in mid-November.
