Variety is reporting that the dump trucks full of hundred dollar bills that recently showed up in the driveways of key Spiderman personnel have worked their magic and that director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will all return for a third Spiderman sequel to be released in theaters and IMAX on May 6th, 2011.
Seabiscuit, Dave and Pleasantville scribe Garry Ross will take over scripting duties in hopes that the film will be less terrible than its predecessor. Seriously, how fucking disappointing was Spidey 3? Yet we remain, as always, cautiously optimistic.
