Earlier this month, it was revealed that more than 540 million Facebook users saw their data exposed in a massive data breach. That followed news that the company was under federal criminal investigation for the deals it struck with electronics manufacturers over user data, as well as the Mueller report statistic that as many as 126 million Facebook users were targeted by Russian disinformation in the lead-up to the 2016 election. This morning, Facebook’s Twitter account linked to a new podcast hosted by Facebook founder and empty shell Mark Zuckerberg. Blessed with the comically boring title Tech & Society, it’s said to feature guests who can speak with Zuckerberg about “tech’s place in the world—along with the opportunities, challenges, hopes, and anxieties that come with it.” Neat, though we’d be more inclined to listen if it went with this approach:
