Physically and emotionally scarred, we’re sure, by a science experiment gone wrong, Cheo Hodari Coker has spent years plotting his revenge while toiling away as a writer and producer on TV series like Southland, NCIS:LA, Almost Human, and Ray Donovan. But now Coker is ready to emerge from his island fortress, shed his iron mask, and pen the first two episodes of Marvel’s Luke Cage series, due to air in 2016.
