Matt Bomer recently played The Last Tycoon, but that’s not why he recently bought out a screening of Greg Berlanti’s Love, Simon. As Entertainment Weekly reports, the openly-gay actor and his husband, Simon Halls, are hosting a free showing of the coming-of-age and out-of-the-closet story in Bomer’s hometown to boost the profile of LGBTQI narratives, which are still too rarely seen in media. The White Collar alum shared the details on Instagram:
So if you’re in Spring, Texas this weekend, you have a chance to see Berlanti’s sweet, if a bit underdeveloped, movie. Sadly, there’s no guarantee Bomer will be there.
