Matt Cohen joins How To Get Away With Murder
Matt Cohen of Supernatural has joined the cast of How To Get Away With Murder, Deadline reports. Cohen will have a recurring arc on the upcoming second season of Shonda Rhimes’s murder drama, on which Viola Davis’s Annalise Keating teaches her law students plenty about how to murder and how to get away with it, but little about the actual law. Earlier this month, Davis was nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series for her work on the show, which did not receive any other nominations.
Cohen will be introduced in season two’s second episode, and for now, he’s only booked for three episodes. He is set to play Levi, who Deadline describes as a “sexy, edgy working class guy.” All of this seems to indicate that he could be a love interest—or sex interest, because How To Get Away With Murder doesn’t ever seem all that interested in love—for any one of the romantically troubled characters. But something about that character description definitely makes him sound more like Connor’s type than anyone else’s.
In addition to Cohen, Kendrick Sampson (The Vampire Diaries) has been added to the cast for season two. How To Get Away With Murder returns to its 10 p.m. stronghold in the TGIT bloc on September 24.
