Matt LeBlanc bemoans a lack of doors in this Top Gear teaser

As we reported back in February, former Friend Matt LeBlanc has joined BBC’s Top Gear as one of the new hosts tasked with keeping the beloved car show/culturally insensitive travelogue series on the air after its old host was fired for having a totally reasonable response to his food not being hot enough. Now, BBC America has released a brief teaser showing that at least some of the show’s trademark sense of humor will be intact when the new hosts take over. In the clip, LeBlanc struggles to get inside a dune buggy-type thing called an Ariel Nomad, and after some typical Top Gear-style artsy driving footage, he realizes why you shouldn’t leave your mouth open while driving through a desert.

Top Gear returns to BBC America in May.
