Maximum Fun is doing another comedy cruise with W. Kamau Bell, Natasha Leggero, and more

Much like the pilgrims once told uproarious jokes to pass the time on their months-long journey to reach the New World, comedy fans can now experience the joys of floating in the middle of an ocean while being entertained by comedians—albeit with less scurvy and more shuffleboard. Maximum Fun is gearing up for a second annual Atlantic Ocean Comedy & Music Festival cruise this summer. The self-titled “Boat Party” will visit the Bahamas July 25-28, and guests can enjoy two nights of comedy and one night of music while combating seasickness and/or fighting off a hangover from all those Mai Tais.

That night of music will be provided by Jean Grae and John Roderick of The Long Winters, with more musicians still to be announced. The comedy, meanwhile, will come courtesy of W. Kamau Bell, Natasha Leggero, Morgan Murphy, Kyle Kinane, Moshe Kasher, Greg Behrendt, Chris Fairbanks, Karen Kilgariff and more. According to the press release, “Upon reaching international waters, shit is expected to get crazy”—which we’re pretty sure is what advertisements for the Mayflower said as well.
