Maya Rudolph added to voice cast of Marvel’s Big Hero 6

The Wrap reports that Maya Rudolph, the best comedian to ever play Maya Angelou, has joined the voice cast of Disney/Marvel’s upcoming animated film Big Hero 6. Disney, ever secretive about the film’s cast, has not officially confirmed Rudolph’s involvement.

No word yet on whether or not Rudolph will be reprising her role as Maya Angelou for the animated film, which is a “comedic action-adventure movie” based on the Marvel superhero team that features a robot as a main character, all in a futuristic city named San Fransokyo. The robots could all be poets, though. We just don’t know.

Rudolph joins the previously announced (and also unconfirmed) T.J. Miller (Silicon Valley) and Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), though little else about the film has been released, besides the same, dreamy, 30-second clip Disney posted last year, showing San Fransokyo by night. It’s still very pretty. Maya Angelou could totally live there.

Big Hero 6 will hit theaters on November 7.
