Maybe this Westworld season finale will clear everything up, but we doubt it
Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Sunday, June 24. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Westworld (HBO, 9 p.m.): The second season of Westworld has been quite a ride: Shogun World, Raj World, multiple timelines and realities and versions of hosts and events, often all in the same episode. Speculation is already running rampant about tonight’s 75-minute season-two finale, “The Passenger,” with one fan theory speculating that Maeve is now residing inside of Bernard since her body was so damaged, thus becoming the passenger of the title. Is Teddy really dead? Is William straight-up nuts now? What does this all have to do with Delos Incorporated? We have absolutely no idea, but we trust Zack Handlen to sort it all out for us as usual.
Regular coverage
Pose (FX, 9 p.m.)
The Affair (Showtime, 9 p.m.)
Ghosted (Fox, 9:30 p.m.)
Preacher (AMC, 10 p.m.): Third season premiere
Wild card
Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (CNN, 9 p.m.): Tonight concludes CNN running its last three episodes of Parts Unknown in honor of Anthony Bourdain. But you can still watch the show after tonight if you have Netflix; the streaming service is keeping the show in rotation for the foreseeable future.
