MC Hammer denied the opportunity to shoot fireballs at goblins in a thwarted video game
A YouTube clip has surfaced featuring gameplay footage of an MC Hammer adventure for Sega Genesis called Hammer Vs. Evil D., which was cancelled before its release. It's unclear why Sega decided not to go through with the game—aside from the fact that it looks and sounds terrible—but it was included in a promo video for the company's new Mega CD add-on at the 1992 Consumer Electronics Show. The clip shows Hammer dancing (or just hopping?) around a back alley as he shoots fireballs out of his hands at ghoulish-looking creatures who are presumably out to steal his parachute pants or his remaining money.
