Daniel Franzese, forever ingrained in many hearts as Damian from Mean Girls, has been cast in the second season of HBO’s Looking that’s set to premiere early next year. Franzese will appear in multiple episodes as Eddie, “a new love interest who works in the San Francisco nonprofit community.” There is no word on whose love interest he will be. Franzese came out publicly earlier this year in a letter to his beloved Mean Girls character.
Franzese’s appearances may have been sparse over the past decade, but he has had a few small roles in TV and film. Elsewhere, Franzese opted to spend more of his time curating art shows, writing a rock opera, and starring in a one-man show. He was also the brains/Italian mom behind Shit Italian Moms Say on YouTube, and even appeared in a Toro Y Moi video.
