The last teaser for HBO’s upcoming comedy High Maintenance was brief glimpse into the jokes and premise of the weed delivery guy comedy. The show, which started life on the internet, was created by husband-and-wife team Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld and follows a pot dealer (Sinclair) as he makes deliveries around New York. But it also follows the lives of the people that buy from him and the various issues they face in their metropolitan lives.
This new trailer promises a look into the lives of a diverse clientele and other characters that nameless dealer The Guy interacts with in his journeys. The trailer features a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance from RuPaul’s Drag Race’s reigning superstar, Bob The Drag Queen, along with many other New York-based improvisers and performers.
High Maintenance premieres on Friday, September 16, on HBO.
