Members of Pussy Riot to appear at a benefit concert in New York
The two recently freed members of Pussy Riot will appear at an upcoming charity concert in New York. Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina will be seen at Amnesty International's Bringing Human Rights Home concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Feb. 5. The two were just released from Russian prison in December, after serving 21 months for hooliganism following a political action at Moscow’s Christ The Savior Cathedral. While what the duo will be doing at the concert isn’t entirely clear yet, they will be joined by other confirmed acts like The Flaming Lips, Imagine Dragons, and fellow jailbird Lauryn Hill.
