Mia Wasikowska acts the shit out of another book in Madame Bovary trailer

Somewhere, Mia Wasikowska is yet again calmly drawing a giant red line through the title of another book on the list of Greatest Novels Of All Time. After Alice In Wonderland and Jane Eyre—also known as Disaster In Burtonland and Excellent Austen Adaptation No. 14, respectively—the actress is now crushing it in her portrayal of still another iconic title character from literature, Madame Bovary. Co-starring Rhys Ifans, Ezra Miller, Logan Marshall-Green, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Paul Giamatti, the film recounts the tale of a self-destructive woman who becomes bored with her small-town life and begins making some questionable choices. Aside from almost universal praise for Wasikowska, critics have been lukewarm at best, meaning this new take will surely go down in history as a movie adaptation of Madame Bovary.
