Jane The Virgin returns to the CW on October 12 to brighten up Monday evenings once again. And in the new trailer for season two, it looks like Jane (played by Golden Globe-winner Gina Rodriguez) is still caught between safe, dependable Michael and exciting, dangerous Rafael. Despite how dark of a note the series ended on (Sin Rostro straight-up stole a baby!), the trailer keeps things light and fun as it urges you to fall in love (again!) with Jane The Virgin. That’s an easy request to oblige with someone as easy-to-love as Rodriguez at the forefront.
The trailer makes it look like Jane is officially going to choose #TeamRafael or #TeamMichael when season two returns, but we have a feeling the answer will be more complicated than one or the other when it comes down to it. Mateo Gloriano Rogelio Solano Villanueva does not appear, so we’re led to believe Sin Rostro is raising him on an island somewhere. Season two will also have guest appearances from Britney Spears, Kesha, and maybe another blonde pop star or two.
