Michael Fassbender has daddy issues in the Trespass Against Us trailer

Dads. They can be annoying, right? That has been the premise of many a sitcom. But in Michael Fassbender’s upcoming Trespass Against Us, the meddlesome father figure—played by Brendan Gleeson—is a terrible influence in addition to being a pain in the ass. The two actors play a parent-spawn pair of criminals, Colby and Chad Cutler, who live and get into trouble together. Chad wants to isolate himself and his brood from his dad’s ways, but Colby insists they stick together.

Trespass Against Us premiered recently at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was met with a mixed reception. It’s due to have a DirecTV release November 24, and then come to theaters sometime at the beginning of 2017.
