It seems that each day brings a new round of reboot news. Up next: previously reported The Wild Bunch, a 1969 Sam Peckinpah Western about a group of past-their-prime outlaws who are looking for one last score. Per an update from Deadline, Michael Fassbender, Jamie Foxx, and Peter Dinklage are currently in early talks to star in the remake, which was penned and Brian Bagby and Mel Gibson, who has apparently been professionally absolved of all previous, horrific behavior. Gibson is also slated to direct while Jerry Bruckheimer is signed on to produce the film.
While no contracts have been finalized as of yet, Deadline also reports that the film will be financed and produced by Warner Bros and production is slated to begin in the fall.
