Michael Ian Black, he of such short-lived, underappreciated oddities as Stella and The State, is getting a shot at making a series on his own. Variety reports that he's making a pilot episode of Michael Ian Black Doesn't Understand for Comedy Central. Not many details yet, but the show's format sounds pretty much like a comedic playground for Black. (Via Pop Candy.)
