Michael Moore is fighting the MPAA over his next film’s R rating

It’s tough being an in-your-face documentary filmmaker who loves to shake up the status quo, because “The Man” will always try to keep you down and suppress your message. Just ask Michael Moore, who is once again being held back by the freedom-hating Thought Police of the Motion Picture Association Of America. According to Variety, the MPAA has given Moore’s next documentary, Where To Invade Next, an R rating, citing its use of “language, some violent images, drug use, and brief graphic nudity.” Or, as a badass documentarian would put it, “THE TRUTH.”

Moore has announced that he’ll be appealing the decision, because he’s not one of the spineless sheeple that illegal organizations like the MPAA can push around. He’s a renegade samurai, cutting people down with his explosive interviews and controversial opinions. Don’t believe us? Just look at this actual quote from the man himself: “I wish the MPAA would just be honest and stick a label on my movies saying: ‘This movie contains dangerous ideas that the 99% may find upsetting and lead them to revolt.’” You tell ‘em, Moore! If it weren’t for power-mad monsters like the MPAA giving his film an R rating instead of a PG-13, America would be a paradise. Also, make sure to upvote these statements on Reddit, or else The Man won’t know we’re sticking it to him.
