Michael Moore probes Treasury Dept. probes Michael Moore

Michael Moore, whose new exposé of the American health-care system, Sicko, is debuting at Cannes this week, is "launching his own probe" into a Treasury Department investigation of his trip to Cuba during the filming of Sicko. For the movie, Moore went to Cuba with a group of 9/11 survivors to compare Castro's medical system to the United States'–an act that the Treasury Department says may have violated the trade embargo. Besides filing a Freedom of Information Act request, it's not clear what Moore's "probe" consists of–but we're guessing it involves dramatically unveiling Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson's scandalous, hypocritical habit of chain-smoking Cuban cigars.

Oh wait, Moore already did that to Republican presidential hopeful Fred Thompson.
