Michael Sheen joins other famous people in the voice cast of Finding Dory

Apparently operating on the idea that famous people—the ones playing fish, anyway—tend to travel in schools, Masters Of Sex star Michael Sheen has glommed on to the massive pack of celebrities set to star in Pixar’s upcoming sea-sequel, Finding Dory. Sheen revealed the news during a recent taping of Doug Benson’s Doug Loves Movies podcast, presumably forcing his words out in between flare-ups of his near-crippling case of Charming Befuddlement, Hollywood’s worst since the Hugh Grant outbreak of 1994.

Sheen joins a cast full of high-profile voice talent: Besides a returning Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks, director Andrew Stanton has lured Idris Elba, Dominick West, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ed O’Neill, Ty Burrell, and Kaitlin Olson into his cinematic trap. Keaton and Levy will play the wayward Dory’s parents, while the rest of the cast—Sheen included, we presume—will fill out the roster of seven-armed octopi, confused sharks, and (we’re just guessing, now) heartbroken manatees, Cockney sea anemones, and sarcastic krill that Stanton is preparing to unleash on audiences when the movie premieres June 17.
