Michelle Rodriguez gets Wild
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, August 3. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Running Wild With Bear Grylls (NBC, 10 p.m.): UnREAL has sadly ended, so it can no longer hog the Top Pick spot on Mondays. What we’re left with is a whole lot of actual reality shows instead of just a fantastic scripted series about a reality dating show. One of those reality shows is Running Wild, the show where Bear Grylls gets to brag about how good he is at climbing mountains and also about how he knows so many celebrities. This week, he’s bringing Michelle Rodriguez along on his journey, in the Nevada desert. They free-fall skydive, scale a large peak, and have to get a little crafty when they get dehydrated. It’s all very easy for Rodriguez when compared to going toe-to-toe with Ronda Rousey.
Regular coverage
WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.)
What else is on?
Bachelor In Paradise (ABC, 8 p.m.): The premise of this show sounds like a half-baked pitch from a very baked Chet, and yet it exists!
Bachelor In Paradise: After Paradise (ABC, 8 p.m.): Immediately following the events of Bachelor In Paradise, you get a whole hour of people just talking about Bachelor In Paradise!
So You Think You Can Dance (Fox, 8 p.m.): The top 14 perform, but we only have eyes for Yorelis and Megz.
American Ninja Warrior (NBC, 8 p.m.): The Pittsburgh finals include the Salmon Ladder, Floating Monkey Bars, Door Knob Arch, and Invisible Ladder.
The Fosters (ABC Family 8 p.m.): It’s time for a family trip to Brandon’s music competition, and family trips mean family secrets are about to escape! Meanwhile, there’s still that whole hit-and-run thing that happened, and Mike is on it.
Significant Mother (The CW, 9:30): Tonight’s episode of Significant Mother is called “Mixed Doubles,” and we aren’t talking about tennis, if you know what we mean.
Miss Congeniality (ABC Family, 6 p.m.): It doesn’t have to be April 25 for it to be the perfect date to watch this movie.
Enchanted (Disney, 8 p.m.): If someone loves all iterations of Amy Adams, including but not limited to Musical Princess Amy Adams, that’s how you know they are a good and decent person.
MLB Baseball: Tigers at Royals (ESPN, 8 p.m.): So much baseball happening all the time.
In case you missed it
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you’re already done bingeing Wet Hot American Summer. But have you been keeping up with Joshua Alston’s TV Club reviews? Because you definitely should.
