Michelle Yeoh to kick ass on Strike Back

Strike BackCinemax’s military TV show/live-action video game—may be getting an injection of martial arts. According to Variety, actor and martial artist Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) is joining the show for its fourth and final season (having just wrapped up Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon II). The series about a group of counter-terrorism operatives is currently shooting its final 10 episodes in Europe and will complete additional filming in Thailand at the end of the year. British mixed martial arts champion Michael Bisping and action star/martial artist Will Yun Lee (The Wolverine) are also joining the show.

For the rest of its new cast, Strike Back pulled almost exclusively from other prestige action dramas. Dustin Clare (Spartacus), Adrian Paul (Highlander), Joseph Gatt (Game Of Thrones), and Christian Antidormi (Spartacus: War Of The Damned) are all joining the series, along with period-piece actor James Wilby. Meanwhile, Sullivan Stapleton, Philip Winchester, and the rest of the main cast will return to blow stuff up and look good while doing it. The new season will premiere sometime in 2015, as an injury Stapleton suffered offset delayed filmmaking by six months.
