Migos will perform at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice, because apparently kids are cool now
Kids tend to get unfairly slammed for liking things that are, you know, childish, but kids are just as capable of liking “cool” stuff as older people. If anything, kids actually tend to like stuff that is cooler than what older people like, it’s just that the gatekeepers of society have deemed that only the things they like are worthy of appreciation. Today, though, the kids have decided to offer an olive branch to the (slightly) older folks of the world by saying, “hey, Migos is alright. It’s cool if we all like Migos.” And lo, there was much rejoicing in the streets.
This news comes from Billboard, which says that Migos will be performing a medley of hits at the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, despite the fact that it’s a real musical act and not some up-and-coming group of preteens nobody has ever heard of who will all be billionaires in six months. Migos is also nominated for the Favorite Music Group award, with Billboard nothing that this is “shaping up to be another banner year” for Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo.
The Kids’ Choice Awards will air on March 23, with DJ Khaled hosting.
