Millennial porn fans have turned their backs on breasts
The horde of avocado-loving young people we lump together under the name “millennials” have set their sights on another one of America’s beloved heritage industries, with Playboy and Pornhub both reporting that boobs, that old sexual titillation stand-by, are no longer a hot commodity among the 18-to-24 set. This is per data analysis from Pornhub, which reports that its younger users are 20 percent less likely to enter breast-related search terms into its search engine than average porn fans.
Not that it’s all bad news for the still-popular secondary sexual characteristic; “big natural boobs” remains Pornhub’s fourth most-used search term, while 1.5 percent of searches—a bigger number than it seems, given the sexual diversity of people who hunt the site—are in some way related to breasts. Meanwhile, Pornhub has a remarkably safe-for-work breakdown of the various ways people search for breast-based content in 2017 on its blog, for anyone who wants to place young porn fans’ anti-mammary tendencies in their proper light.
