Due to a confluence of cirumstances, we've been forced to postpone tomorrow's Inventory reading at Boswell Books in Milwaukee. Apologies to the store and to any of you who planned to make it out. But we've rescheduled already!

What's our problem, you ask? One is that a whole bunch of us got the flu immediately after the Chicago reading. We were just gonna ride it out and not make a big deal of it, but apparently Time Out thinks our office bug is newsworthy. (It's a bit flattering, really.)
The other reason is much sadder: Keith's dad, Henry Phipps, passed away late last week, and that's taking several staffers out of town. We all plan on being there, Keith included, for the second Chicago reading, though, on October 28 at Book Cellar in Lincoln Square. Send Keith some kind thoughts, and if your parents are still around, give 'em a hug or a call today.
