Minnie Driver has landed her first regular series role since FX’s The Riches, joining the recent exodus of film stars to the small screen with the CBS pilot Hail Mary. The show, to be run by The L Word creator Ilene Chaiken, will find Driver playing “a suburban single mom who teams up with a street-smart hustler to solve crimes.” See, this is what happens when your police force is too busy talking to ghosts and locking up werewolves; all the regular crimes fall to the moms and the hustlers.
